Thank you for the question. Much appreciated! Kate less. Write a comment With all the use and abuse Rio was through I expected more problems on his part with adjusting to normal life again. But the story doesn't dwell on it much. As I said, it's mostly sweet and candy. And Mick is gentle and sweet and understanding when Rio gets frightened.
I also enjoyed reading about the other paranormal characters in this fictional world: vampires, pixies, trolls, sylphs although I must admit, I had to look that one up , etc. And then within the space of a single page--literally--Mick decides to throw all his reasons out the window and they end up having sex that night.
